Work
Currently, I'm an engineer (Principal Member of Technical Staff) at Salesforce, working on the recently released Notes feature.
From 2005 through 2013, I was a software engineer at SAP Dublin Labs (formerly Sybase).
From 2000 to 2005, I was a software engineer at MontaVista Software, the leading company in the embedded Linux market.
Until May 2000, I was a research scientist and lecturer in the Physics Department at UC Berkeley.
I worked in the field of particle astrophysics. I was affiliated with the AMANDA experiment, a neutrino detector constructed and operated at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station.
At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, I worked to develop digital optical modules, a new technology for AMANDA and its successor, IceCube.
I have taught Physics 8A and 8B (introductory course for life sciences majors) and Physics 112 (senior-level statistical mechanics and thermodynamics) at UC Berkeley.
